What countries are NOT eligible?
Passage supports students from most countries but cannot yet assist those in Europe, Afghanistan*, Belarus, Central African Republic, China, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Moldova, Myanmar, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, The Democratic Republic of Congo, Ukraine, Venezuela, and Yemen.
*Students from Afghanistan can only be funded through the Passage Afghan Program.
How does Passage choose programs?
We prioritize curated programs designed to align with Canada's highest-demand sectors and critical labor shortages. While we select programs that currently meet Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) eligibility criteria to provide a pathway for work experience, please note that final work permit approval and job placement remain subject to individual performance and evolving government policies.
Does Passage serve both onshore and offshore students?
Yes, Passage serves students both in Canada (onshore) and outside of Canada (offshore).
How do I apply for a Passage loan?
You can apply online by checking your eligibility on the Passage website. The process takes less than 2 minutes. Once you're eligible, you can proceed with your application.
